A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, June 1 in the Chapel of Belk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery with military honors. Born in Florence County on April 13, 1930, he was the last living of eleven children born to the late Calvin H. and Annie Timmons Hatchell. John had an extensive career in law enforcement. After serving his country in the United States Army, he started as a Florence motorcycle policeman, and then worked as a trooper for the SC Highway Patrol. Appointed as Darlington County Sherriff in 1965, he served for two terms. John then worked for Liberty Life as an insurance agent for a brief period before going back to work at the Darlington County Sheriff''s Office until 1985. Mr. Hatchell then served as superintendent of the prison farm until his retirement in 1991. After his retirement, John ran a plunder shop in Florence until 2009 and then continued working as a Comprar Levitra security guard while his health allowed. In his spare time, John enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a proud member of the VFW , a member of St. David''s Masonic Lodge 72 until 1988 and a former Shriner. Mr. Hatchell attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hartsville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ramona Stokes Hatchell, his second wife, Linda Mahon Hatchell, his daughter, Brenda Hatchell, his siblings: Roy Hatchell, Virginia Turbeville, Margaret Baker, Charles Hatchell, Frances Hatchell, Annie Collins, Levi Hatchell, Louise Gray, and Jimmy Hatchell. The family will receive friends from 6 8 Saturday evening at Belk Funeral Home.

Charlie Hudson Graham MULLINS Charlie Hudson Graham, 81, of Mullins passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Thomas DeWitt Graham and Ruth Russ Graham. Mr. Graham was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was affectionately known to many as the "Lance Man". Mr. Graham was a strong man of faith, having served as a devoted member, Elder and Trustee of the Mullins Presbyterian Church. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. An avid Gamecock fan, he was a longtime member of the Gamecock Club as well as a Past Master of Damascus Lodge 161. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Thomas D. Graham Jr., William Joseph Graham, and James Waller Graham. He was also predeceased by one sister, Marjorie Ruth Graham. Mr. Graham is survived by his loving family, including his wife of forty years, Becky T. Holmes of Conway; his two brothers, Freddie H. (Brenda) Graham of Aynor, and Phillip R. (Linda) Graham of Conway; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special fishing friend, Betty Godbolt. 29201.

Haskel Marvin Wise PAMPLICO Mr. Haskel Marvin Wise, 78, husband of Hazel Hyman Wise, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at home following an illness. Mr. Wise was born March 11, 1936, in Florence County, a son of the late George Lester Wise and Eula Brown Wise. He was a 1954 graduate of Hannah High School and was the owner and operator of Wise Repair Service which opened in 1965. Mr. Wise continued his business but was also Maintenance Supervisor Comprar Gh Jintropin for Florence County School District 2, Pamplico, and retired in 2006 but stayed active with his business and the school district. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he served as a Dianabol Oral Steroid Side Effects Deacon and member of the Men''s Sunday School Class. Mr. Wise was also a member of the RSES Association and former member of the US Army Reserve. He loved to bird hunt and fish with his close friend, Bobby Calcutt, since 1965. Surviving besides his wife of 55 years, Hazel Hyman Wise of Anavar Pct the home, are daughter, Anadrol 300 Kim Wise Sint of Greenville; two grandchildren, Monica and Mark Sint of Greenville; brother, Andy Wise of Florence; two sisters, Thyra Wise Hyman of Surfside Beach and Barbara Wise McCutcheon of Scranton; sister in law, Rebecca Hyman (Howard) Weaver of Pamplico; and brother in law, Lancie (Jeannie) Hyman of Pamplico; close friend, Bobby Calcutt of Pamplico; and a number of nieces and nephews. Zion Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1883 S. Pamplico Highway, Pamplico, SC 29583, and McLeod Hospice, P. O. Box 100551, Florence, SC 29502 0551. The family would especially like to thank the nurses and staff of McLeod Hospice for the care and concern given to Mr. Wise and his family during this time.
